After breakfast you will visit to Polonnaruwa for the tour on ancient city. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa remains one of the best planned archaeological relic cities in the country, standing testimony to the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom’s first rulers and has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. You will visit King Parakkramabahu Royal Palac, Ordains hall, Kumara Pond, Siva temple, Vatadaga, Atadaga, Hetadaga, Rankoth vehhera and Galvihara temple.
Then leave for a Jeep Safari in Minneriya National Park. Large numbers of Sri Lankan elephants are attracted to grass fields on the edges of the Minneriya National Park and reservoir during the dry season. Elephants gathered here is numbering around 150-200, sometimes 700. Return to hotel for night stay.
